Imagine walking into a cosy sunlit home. You may have a baby growing in your belly, or sleeping in your arms, and an older child or two eager to peek inside. You may come alone or with a friend.
A cosy couch and soft cushions on the floor, mothers, babies and children gathered together in the comfort of a home.
You will be served herbal teas, delicious snacks, nourishing warm soup and toasted sourdough.
Your baby may be breastfeeding, your older child playing happily in the Montessori inspired environment.
Here you can share your feelings of motherhood in a loving space. You can laugh and cry, here you will be seen and heard.
Be nurtured, nourished and learn from the wisdom of other mothers.

I'm pregnant, can I still come?
Yes absolutely! All mamas and babies and children of all ages are welcome. You may be pregnant with your first or your fifth baby, please join us.
Yes absolutely! We regularly welcome 1, 2, 3 and even 4 year old's at the Mothers Gathering and Playgroup. This is one of the reasons we created this village - so mamas wanting to attend a mothers group can bring their older child/ren with them.
There are so many activities for older kiddos to do. Trampoline, outside mud kitchen, scooters and bikes, Montessori climbing frames, inside play kitchen and cleaning materials, Montessori style shelves with simple wooden materials and activities.
*Note - please bring snacks and potentially lunch for your older children. They will be served the same as the mamas if they would like to eat these foods, but always best to have options you know they like.
*Note - you are 100% responsible for supervising your baby and older children, this is not a creche or day care.
Great question and something I'm very passionate about. Serving mamas and kiddos organic, nutrient dense, locally sourced food with love is what the Gathering is all about!
Dry pantry supplies like nuts, seeds and grains etc I source from an amazing Australian company called Honest to Goodness. Almost everything is organic, occasionally I'll get the insecticide free almonds.
Fresh vegetables and herbs I source from the organic stalls at Gosford Farmers Markets on Sundays or from my own garden.
The sourdough served is from La Tatine, a local French bakery that uses organic ingredients. The gluten free bread is usually from The Bakers Chemist or another gluten free bakery at Gosford Farmers Market.
The butter is organic, grass fed and finished from Coles or Woolies. I make my own ghee from organic unsalted butter.
The organic herbal tea I serve is perfectly blended by my beautiful friend, naturopath and herbalist, Rebecca Williams from Holistic Traditions.
"I look forward to the Mother's Gathering every week, it's my time for me, where I can relax and connect with my bub and other mummas.
I leave every week feeling nourished, physically and emotionally. Rhiannon provides a beautiful home cooked lunch, delicious herbal tea and a beautiful, calming space 💗"

"New to the central coast with a 3 month old baby, I found myself seeking community and friendship finding it hard to find spaces that both truly nourished my heart and soul and where I could have presence with my little boy. One day I stumbled upon a post on Facebook inviting me to Rhiannon’s mother’s gathering. After reading what it was about I quickly booked a space in the following week and honestly it was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my motherhood journey.
Rhi is an absolutely incredible woman who welcomed me into her warm space with open arms. I was fed in every sense with delicious and nourishing food and warm healing tea but also with a huge range of resources for me to tap into as I embark on this huge journey of motherhood (The Connected Mamas Community Library).
I came away from the day feeling inspired, nourished and absolutely so excited to return again the following week. It’s been 6 months since then and I try to make every week with my baby. We’ve made beautiful friends whom we’ve connected deeply with. I look forward to more mornings with Rhi, meeting new beautiful friends and watching my child do the same."

"I started attending the mother’s gathering when I was around 5 weeks postpartum, following the recommendation of a friend. It was a lovely way to get out of the house with my young baby in a comfortable and safe environment, meet other local mums, and be nurtured and nourished by Ree and the other mama’s. The space Ree provides is calm and welcoming, the snacks and meal delicious and nutritious, and the company and support of other mama’s wonderful!"

"Rhiannon has created such a wonderful supportive pre and post partum community on the Central Coast. Her passion and care for helping mumma's and mamma's to be just shines through. Rhiannon is so genuinely caring, respectful of your wants and listens to all your needs. Her mumma's gathering's are so nourishing for mind, body and soul! Thanks so much for all you do!"
