"Rhiannon is the most incredible human. She completely changed the course of my pregnancy and my son’s life.

Lee-Ann Hyman
"I've had the joy of being part of Rhiannon's pregnancy circles. Not only is she a wealth of support and information, Rhiannon also creates a safe space for women to share their experiences without judgement. The women that have joined alongside me had the opportunity to be vulnerable in what can often be the only forum in which you feel seen and heard about your fears and anxieties. That is a treasured feeling, to be supported and I'm grateful to Rhiannon for holding this space for women to reflect and connect"

“Women… how absolutely incredible they are.. to be held by such beauties through this pregnancy. We have been together since the beginning.
All because of our beautiful Rhiannon creating a space for us to be heard, held and supported. I can’t thank you enough Rhi for changing my entire pregnancy. It started with no community and has ended with life long friendships.
I am so excited to see these women on the mother side and watch our babies grow. What a magical journey together 🌸"

Hi, I'm Rhiannon...
As a mother, wife, and dedicated advocate for women transitioning from maiden to mother, I am passionate about supporting the profound journey of matrescence. As a pregnancy and postpartum doula and breastfeeding educator with The Thompson Method, I am committed to helping women experience a nurtured pregnancy, a positive fourth trimester, and a well-supported breastfeeding journey.
After traveling the world with my Kiwi husband, we settled on the beautiful Central Coast. Having journeyed through three pregnancies and blessed with two daughters, I understand the complexities and joys of motherhood.
Like many first-time mothers, I initially focused on birth and overlooked the postpartum period. I didn’t realize how crucial it was to rest, eat nutritious food, and be mothered so I could mother my baby. The prevailing attitude was, “didn’t you know it was going to be hard?” which normalized the struggle, but it never felt right to me.
First-time mothers often hear about the challenges of postpartum and breastfeeding, or perhaps no one has even mentioned it. What they may not know is that with the right support, these challenges need not feel isolating or unacknowledged. My own early postpartum period was marked by a week in the NICU and an identity crisis. Forming close relationships with other new mothers helped me through that first year. When I welcomed my second child, I prioritized my needs and embraced help, resulting in a beautiful, oxytocin-filled first 40 days. This inspired me to become a postpartum doula.
My wish is for first-time mothers to transition into motherhood feeling embraced and supported, surrounded by a nurturing village. For mothers expecting another child who may have experienced an unsupported postpartum, I want to assure you that your next experience can be different—with support and nourishment, it can be a time of joy.
My mission is to help pregnant women plan and prepare for a well-nurtured fourth trimester. I believe seeking help is a true strength. In your precious postpartum period, I will be there to mother you so you can mother your baby. As part of the Thompson Method team, I offer the Beautiful Breastfeeding Program to support your breastfeeding journey.
When I’m not serving mothers, you’ll find me cooking wholesome meals, exploring the Central Coast with my family, engaging with the Montessori community, or enjoying soul-nourishing moments with my girlfriends. I cherish the simple, quiet moments and the joy that motherhood brings.
I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and even more so, a mother. Allow me to help you create your village, so you can transition into motherhood with all the love and warmth you deserve.
Rhiannon xx
